Tatami Kids Room with Hidden Storage
Description
This project was of a specially made single-sized platform with Tatami and storage space that can be accessed from the side drawer and top panel of the platform. The concept was to create a comfortable and functional area for the client’s child. In the morning, the space can be used as an activity space while at night, the 100% cotton handcrafted Shikibuton is laid out for sleeping. The grassy fragrance from the Tatami aids sleeping as most children usually have a hard time falling asleep. Our client also has a Tatami 9-in-1 Sofa Bed to increase focus when studying as it has the right amount of support that one requires.
