Mr Wong chose natural Tatami to address a fundamental discomfort: his previous synthetic leather cushion was uncomfortably warm and too soft, leaving the space feeling artificial and stifling. His decision was a move to restore balance, seeking a more intentional living experience. Tatami provided:

Our Intervention
Initiated after Mr Wong’s key discovery of our natural Tatami at a roadshow. Our strategy was a targeted intervention: custom-installing authentic Tatami Mats directly onto his platform. This seamlessly delivered the desired cooling, firmness, and natural aesthetic without requiring a full renovation.
Cultural Inspiration
The project for Mr Wong was culturally anchored in Japanese minimalism and heritage. The core inspiration was the desire to honor a tradition without overwhelming the modern space. The sleek simplicity of Tatami brought visual clarity and cultural richness, transforming the platform into a symbol of strength that aligns with Japanese discipline and intentional living.
