To bring the client's vision of authentic Japanese-inspired living into a functional, modern home, we proposed using Igusa tatami mats as the primary foundation for both the master bedroom and living room. We also referred the couple to a reliable carpenter to custom-build a raised platform to their tatami layout specifications, ensuring precise fitting, structural integrity, and long-term durability.
