James wanted a home that felt like Japan, but his first attempt fell short. He had bought synthetic mats that felt like plastic, cold, artificial, and entirely lacking in character. Even with a beautiful interior featuring wooden platforms and noren curtains, the room felt unfinished. He realized the problem was the floor. He needed the sensory, authentic connection that only natural igusa rush can provide to make the space feel real.
