Specifically designed for the rigors of heavy footfall, this synthetic variant featuring a modern Honeycomb pattern offers a traditional look with superior longevity. Each mat is crafted by small-scale Japanese makers, ensuring the authentic spirit of traditional tatami is preserved in a high-performance material

This is a discounted, as-is unit of our Tatami 9-in-1 Sofa Bed in Kurumi Brown. The sofa bed has been marked down due to minor stain marks on the Tatami surface. These are cosmetic in nature and do not affect the structural integrity, multi-functional internal mechanism, firmness, or performance of the product.

Underneath the surface, this is the same handcrafted sofa bed from our standard catalogue — made with premium 100% Japanese Igusa Rush, naturally heat-regulating, breathable, and built to support healthy, versatile floor living. If you're looking for authentic Tatami quality at a reduced price and don't mind the cosmetic imperfection, this is an excellent opportunity.

What's the same: Materials, internal frame construction, cushion firmness, dimensions, 9-way folding functionality, and aromatic properties.

What's different: Minor stain marks on the surface; sold as-is with no returns or exchanges on defect-related concerns.
