Can I place it on the ground?

Yes, you can. It has a slight cushion filling inside which makes sitting on the ground more comfortable. It is also safe for children and babies to use as a play mat

Do you have a bigger size for my queen or king sized mattress?

This is the 4th time I purchase tatami mats from this company. The mats last for a long time. My first purchase of bed top mat more than 10 years ago is still in very good condition.
