A great discovery, always wanted a portable mattress and happens to chance upon Tatami Shop, where was introduced by Christine on the types of tatami and how convenient it is to change into sitting and lying down position. Provides a very relaxing mat to sit on. The tatami smell is nice, at least to me.

I bought my first tatami mat more than 20 years ago and it is still in good condition except it looked very aged ,so I bought about more than 5 years ago my 2nd piece (this time a new tatami topper) to lay over my aged tatami mat.
Both are still in good condition and I enjoyed sleeping on tatami mat as they are cooling and easy to maintain (no mattress sheets to wash) and also very firm which improve my backache.
I recently bought another new tatami mat on 8 July 2024 as I intends to keep my old tatami mats for my visiting guests who wants to sleep over.
